Pre-Kindergarten- Mrs. Young

All Kindergarten Classes

  • 1 Large Backpack with no wheels large enough to fit a 9x11 pocket folder and bulky snow pants in the winter. Label with child's name
  • A change of clothes that includes: 1 pair of pants, 1 pair of shorts, 1 short sleeved shirt, a pair of socks, 1 pair of underwear and a change of shoes Please label all items with your child's name.
  • 1/2 or 1 inch binder with clear pocket in the front (Label with child's name.)

  • 1 Package Baby Wipes
  • 1- 8 Count box of Crayola Washable (no large crayons)
  • 1 Package 25 Count Page Protectors
  • 1-10 Count Package of Broad Line Classic Colors Crayola Washable Markers
Morning Classes Only:
  • 2 Red Plastic Folders
  • 1 Orange Paper Folder and 1 Red Paper Folder with Paper Fasteners. Write your child's name inside the folders.
  • 1 Box Tissues
Afternoon Classes Only:
  • 2 Blue Plastic Folders
  • 1 Purple and One Blue Folder with Paper Fasteners. Write your child's name inside the folders.
  • 1 Roll of Paper Towels
Please Bring All Supplies to our Pre-K Orientation, Wednesday, August 29th, 5:30-6:30.

  • Crayons-Box of 24 is best
  • 10 Sharpened Pencils with Erasers (Please no Mechanical Pencils) *Pencils will be shared
  • 2 Boxes of Tissues
  • 2 Big Pink Erasers

*A folder and pencil box will be provided, so they do not need to be purchased.
  • 1 Box of Crayons (please no larger than 24 crayons)
  • 7-10 Sharpened Pencils (Plain, wooden, non-plastic or plastic wrapped pencils)

  • Scissors (Fiskars work well with a blunt point)

There will be a designated snack time every day. Please provide your child with a nutritious snack.

A copy of our "Specials" will be sent home on the first day of school. 

Please have students bring in "Me Box" Family Project the first or second day of school.

Find an empty shoebox to wrap or decorate so that the box can still be opened. Fill the box with about 8-10 items that "show and tell" about your child and family.

Possible things to include:
  • Baby pictures
  • Family pictures
  • Pictures of Grandparents
  • Pictures of Pets
  • Pictures that may show Family events or Traditions
  • Pictures or souvenirs of a family vacation 
  • Small items or toys that are special to your child
*Please talk with your child about these items so they can explain them to the class

  • 2 Boxes of 24 Count Crayola Crayons
  • 3 or More Glue Sticks (Jumbo works best)
  • 1 Pair of Scissors (Fiskar if possible)

  • 1 Package of Baby Wipes

  • 1 or 2 Containers of playdoh

We will have snack daily. Please provide a nutritious snack for your child. We have a water fountain in our classroom so juice and other drinks are not necessary.
