On Thursday, September 28th, Mrs. Leah Richards' 6th grade ELA students attended a special poetry afternoon in the library. Each group of 3 students was given one of 7 poems to analyze for figurative language, expressive language, theme and mood. They were able to spread out on the floor on beanbags and get comfortable. Later in the classroom, they will present their poems to the rest of the class for further discussion.
