November is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). Sixteen of our students successfully completed writing novels during the month. Word count goals get larger as the students gets older. For example, first grade students needed to write 300 words to be considered a novel. Second graders had to write 500 words; third graders wrote 800 words and fourth graders wrote 1200 words.  Morgan and Elizabeth Lucason are competing in the National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships this coming weekend in North Carolina.  The races are being streamed live!
