Camden Middle School Celebrates Veterans Day

The Camden Middle School Social Studies Department, National Junior Honor Society, and WEB helped coordinate school-wide activities recognizing the importance of Veterans Day.  Students at Camden Middle School helped to create a flag to recognize family members and friends that have served in the military.  During the month of November students were also asked to bring in military donations so that packages could be sent to former Camden Central School students that are currently on active duty.  The collection was a success and packages are in the process of being shipped out for the Christmas holidays.  We hope to make this an annual tradition at CMS.   The Social Studies Department would like to thank Jreck Subs, Mystic Stamp, Arthur S. Moran American Legion Auxiliary, Camden Board of Education member Jamie Albrecht and the numerous families that donated goods and funds towards shipping costs.
