North Bay Carnival
| North Bay PTO's premier fundraising event took place on a beautiful day in May. The carnival was well attended and had lots for everyone. Kids delighted in the fantastic rides and climbing devices. Animals from the Utica Zoo amazed children and adults alike. The baby sulcata tortoise that was greedily munching the grass can live for over 100 years and reach a weight of 200 pounds! Firemen displayed how to escape from a burning house and gave tips on fire safety to the kids. A crew from the Department of Transportation gave pointers on road safety. Music was provided by a Camden Schools All Star band. A beautiful $2,000 Harden mirror was someone's prize for a one dollar raffle ticket. The event was very successful: it raised funds for special projects in the school and everyone had a great time. Congratulations to all who took part and helped to make it an overwhelming success. |
