Video Conferencing
Video Conferencing technology has steadily grown in availability and capability in schools over the last few years. Not only has equipment become better and more available, but there are more content providers offering cheap/free content calls, and it has also become much easier to make calls between school buildings as well.
At this time, we have at least two (2) Tandberg video conferencing units in every building here in the Camden Central School District. One of the units is a high definition unit, similar to the one used in the district training sessions. These can be signed out in your building to be used in your classroom, the library, or the gym, depending on how big your group will be and the purpose you will be using the unit for. Louise and Chris are happy to help in getting the equipment set up and in place, as well as running test calls and when possible being there for the actual calls.
