Web 2.0 Tools

The term "Web 2.0" was coined in 1999 by Darcy DiNucci in her article, "Fragmented Future." The term loosely refers to an Internet (web) site that allows users to not only view information, but to also comment, post, or interact with the information on the site in some way. Think of the way you use the Internet in your life today, are you simply viewing a website (ex. reading a news article) or are you interacting with the page in some way (ex. commenting, posting, changing the page, etc.)? Maybe you are already using Web 2.0 tools and don't even know it. If you have a Facebook page, you are on Web 2.0!
