At the time a student enters the High School they are designated with a cohort year.  This cohort year determines the graduation requirements that those students must adhere to in order to graduate.

In an attempt to have students know their graduation requirements all students at Camden High School are given an intensive 5-day career education program in their English 9 class.  This program is followed by a Freshman Interview between the student and their counselor.  Parents are invited to this meeting.  At the time of the Freshman Interview the students particular graduation requirements are planned out on a four-year plan that takes into consideration their future plans. This four-year plan is used for advisement purposes only.  Each year the students meet individually with their counsselor to adjust the plan according to changes in their future plans and credits earned.
