North Bay Library Media Center is a place to learn about books and how a library works. It’s a place to find books to read for pleasure and to learn new things. We spend time learning how to use a computer, how to find good resources and how to evaluate them. We also talk about copyright and plagiarism and why they are important. We do this though exploration, questioning, games, and practice.
We create many technology projects over the year and you will find them listed on the left. If you are looking for projects we did last year, you will find them under "Past Technology Projects." I also write about books I'm reading under my blog (also on the left), and please check out the 5th grade booktrailers. The 5th grade students worked very hard on these and I think you will enjoy them. You may even decide to read one of the books they recommend. Below is a video of some of the activities we do in the library during the year.
