Welcome to the McConnellsville Elementary Library!
Our library is the heart of the school! Students come to library each week as a 42-minute "special". They have a grade-specific lesson and then have at least 10 minutes to choose a book to take home for the week. For older students, there is "Open Library" each morning, which allows them to visit the library to pick out new books.
Have you read a Magic Tree House book lately?
Read any Magic Tree House book before February 10th and you can fill out a leaf for our library's tree display! On the morning of February 13th, Mrs. DeLosh will pick leaves for prizes! Students in grades 2-5 are eligible, and you may enter as many times as you wish! (Grades 3-5 must pass their AR test on the book to fill out a leaf. Grade 2 must correctly answer 2 questions asked by Mrs. DeLosh.)
Updated 1/31/12 ... WOW, our tree has turned into a jungle!! Take a look at all of the reading our wonderful students have been doing!! Each leaf on the tree means that a student has read a Magic Tree House book!!
