National Junior Society Inductions:
On Saturday, June 12th, Camden Middle School inducted 42 members into the National Junior Honor Society. This is an incredible group of students and we are so proud of them.
Member, Annaka Stuaring wrote this original poem to commemorate the event:
Caring for someone,
However difficult it is.
Respect toward others.
Acting with the knowledge every
Choice you make has an effect on
Those around you.
Endlessly wondering how to
Recreate the world.
Letting others take over,
Even if you don’t want to.
Accommodating those who need help,
Dealing with problems that arise.
Eagerly taking any chance to learn.
Growing with the Arts 2021:
Every year, we look forward to celebrating our students' successes in the visual arts. This year is no exception!!! Our students were able to create some amazing artwork despite the many challenges they faced this school year. Over the past few weeks, the art teachers within the district have been hard at work creating a "virtual" art show to highlight the wonderful talent of our students. Click on the graphic below to view the show. Enjoy!
Outstanding Junior Artist:
The Camden Art Department would like to announce this year’s OUTSTANDING JUNIOR ARTIST!!!!
To be considered for this award, junior art students were asked to submit a portfolio of 8-10 pieces. The submissions were then judged by the teachers of the art department, district principals and the superintendent. From the portfolios submitted, one junior was chosen to receive this amazing honor.
The winner of this year’s honor is Emma Bolster .
Emma will have her portfolio featured at the
Virtual K-12 Art Show this year.

Camden High School's National Honor Society proudly presents the induction of its newest members for the 2020-2021 school year. The induction is shown virtually, due to Covid-19 restrictions, but we present it proudly, knowing the achievement is not diminished by the manner in which it is presented.

Happy Holidays from CHS Concert Band:
Beginning in September, CHS musicians have been preparing for a concert not knowing what was in store for the upcoming months. Around the end of October, concert band members began to prepare short musical arrangements as a backup plan in case school went fully remote. Students gained the experience of collaborating with each other, evaluating their effort, and repeating the necessary steps until their desired outcome was achieved. The following presentation represents these efforts and the band is excited to share them with you for the holiday season. Happy Holidays!
NJHS Gratitude Project:
Camden Middle School's National Junior Honor Society finished out 2020 by working on a gratitude project. Although it has been a year filled with many challenges and changes, the 8th grade students in NJHS focused on the fact that there is still a lot to be grateful for as 2020 comes to a close. CMS NJHS invites you to view their video project and wishes everyone in our community lots to be grateful for in 2021!
