The Camden Central School District is pleased to have the honor of hosting Section III postseason competition in three different sports this week.

On Tuesday, May 23rd, the undefeated Camden varsity softball team (20-0) puts its top seed on the line with a Section III Class B Round of 16 matchup against an opponent to be determined. The Blue Devils will host the winner of Monday’s game between sixteenth-seeded Clinton and seventeenth-seeded Holland Patent. Tuesday’s first pitch will be at 5 p.m.

The Camden varsity baseball team (13-5) has earned the fifth overall seed in the Section III Class B playoffs. They will open postseason play in the Round of 16 on Tuesday, May 23rd. The Blue Devils will host the winner of Monday’s game between twelfth seeded Oneida, and twenty first seeded General Brown at Camden Yards. Tuesday’s first pitch is slated for 5 p.m.

As preliminary round games, baseball and softball will be free admission during this round. On Thursday, May 25th, the Camden track and field teams will host the Section III Class B1 Championships on the newly improved Camden High School stadium track. The meet is scheduled to start at 4:00 p.m. This week’s track and field Class B1 Championship meet is a Section III Championship event, and admission will be charged per Section III policy. As an additional component of that policy, all ticket sales are cashless as they have been in recent years for Section III Championships.

Individual tickets are $7.20 if ordered by midnight Wednesday and $8.00 on the day of the event. A “Family Four Pack” is also available now through the day of the championship at a discounted price of $28.00 for four tickets. Track and Field tickets are available at the following link. Please take care to select the Section III Class B-1 Championship held at Camden among the options presented to you in the Track and Field category. https://section3.org/sports/20...
