Camden High School sophomore Peyton Kelley has been selected to the All-CNY Girls’ Wrestling team presented by Syracuse.com for the 2023-24 winter season. The awards were announced after careful consideration from the Syracuse.com High School Sports Reporting Staff.
Peyton turned in an excellent campaign for the Blue Devils where she won multiple tournament titles, including the Haines Tournament at SUNY Oswego, and the Dames of Thrones tournament in Albany. She was second at 94 pounds in the inaugural Section III ranking tournament, and transferred that success into a spot in the second NYSPHSAA Girls’ Wrestling Invitational. She closed her season on a high note at the invitational. Kelley avenged her title match loss at the Section III ranking tournament to win her fifth place match over General Brown’s Fern Jewett.
