CAMDEN, NY - The Camden Central School District athletic department is pleased to announce that recent graduate Caden Grygiel has been selected to the New York State Sportswriters’ Association All-State Baseball Team for the 2025 season.

Grygiel was selected to the third team in Class A as a first baseman, adding to a list of honors that already included All-CNY and Tri-Valley League All-Star Honors. He was the 2025 TVL Pioneer Division Player of the Year.

In his senior campaign, Caden placed tenth in all of Section III Class A in batting average with a .403 mark for the season. He led the classification with fourteen extra base hits, and had a home run included in that total. His knack for getting beyond first led to top-notch run production, as his eighteen runs batted in tied for fifth in all of Section III Class A.

In limited appearances on the mound, he struck out 21 batters this season across ten innings.

With his play setting the tone, the 2025 Blue Devils were 13-9 overall and secured the Tri-Valley League Pioneer Division Crown on their way to a spot in the Section III Class A Quarterfinals.

Grygiel is set to begin his freshman year at Alfred State College, where he plans to play NCAA Division III baseball for the Pioneers.
