CTE Signing Day

Signing Day. Those two little words can add up to a big moment. It brings up images of bright lights, flashbulbs, press conferences, and seniors ready to take their game to the next level in college sports. But what about bringing that experience to seniors moving on to the next level in something other than sports?

For the last five years, Madison-Oneida BOCES has been doing exactly that. On Thursday, June 5th, two Career and Technical Education students representing Camden High School were celebrated alongside their internship mentors at the 2025 CTE Signing Day Ceremony held in the Rossetti Education Center Courtyard on the Verona Campus.

Signing Day is a special event that recognizes seniors who have received an immediate employment offer from the organization where they completed their senior internships. The students present their mentors or a designated representative with a framed “MOBOCES Industry Champion Award” certificate and a small gift on behalf of Madison-Oneida BOCES.

Participating in this event is a tremendous honor reserved for some of the most career-focused students in each MOBOCES CTE graduating class. The students have worked hard and gone above and beyond their studies to prove their worth and build trust, leading to an opportunity to formally start their career.

In total, eleven students from six districts and seven CTE programs were recognized. Congratulations to the following Camden students on receiving paid employment opportunities.
