On Thursday, June 5th, the Camden Central School District community came together en masse to celebrate the Class of 2025 at their Class Night Celebration. Over the course of the evening, 215 awards totaling $200,935.00 in value were presented from members of our community, along with local, regional and national organizations. The continued and expanded generosity was noticeable. This year marked an increase of 16 total awards, and the total value of the awards rose by approximately $30,000 versus the 2024 event.
That is funding that will be put to good use as students prepare to move into the workforce, college, trade school, the military, volunteerism, or another pathway.
The event also included the 2025 Yearbook Dedication Award, which was presented to Camden Central School District Food Service Manager Pearl Romano. In addition, the Student “Seed of Selflessness” was announced, with Annaka Stauring becoming a second generation “Seed of Selflessness” recipient. Her mother, Carol, was the adult “Seed of Selflessness” honoree in 2024.
