Photos from last night's boys' varsity basketball contest against Rome Free Academy. In the loss, Isaac Lynch finished with 27 points and 11 rebounds, while Pedro Floge chipped in with 12 points. Todd Willson put together a balanced night with 6 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists.
The team will be back in action on the road this evening against the Oswego Buccaneers.

Camden High School students Bailey Conover, Aundrea Burnett, Christina Johnson, and Giulianna Mariani-Bartha combined engineering, culinary arts, and the holiday spirit to create some festive pretzel gingerbread houses in Life Skills Technology class with Mr. Bates.
The class is very excited for their upcoming field trip this Thursday! They will head to the Turning Stone Resort to learn more about their impressive gingerbread house display and how it was constructed. They will also enjoy lunch, and some delicious pastries from the Opals bakery!
Boys' Basketball has a big Tri-Valley League matchup at home tonight as the squad hosts Rome Free Academy. JV tips at 5:00, and Varsity will follow at 6:30.
We have a new school single game record! On Wednesday, December 11th, senior Isaac Lynch scored 39 points in a boys' basketball matchup against the New Hartford Spartans.
That sets a new program benchmark for points in a game. The previous record stood at 35 points, as set by Alex Stevens during the 1993-94 season.

Many of our Camden High School student musicians attended the Syracuse performance of The Rock Orchestra by Candlelight last night! The performance was held at the OnCenter's Crouse-Hinds Theater in Syracuse.
The Rock Orchestra was established in 2020 and is a collective group of classical musicians that breathe beautifully dark energy into legendary rock and metal through a fusion of the two genres. It was an amazing experience!

Due to inclement weather, the Camden Central School District has cancelled all after-school activities, and afternoon half-day Pre-K for Thursday, December 5th.
Thursday night is Morgan’s Message Night with Camden Volleyball! Come support the Blue Devils while advancing the cause of student-athlete mental health with the Morgan’s Message Club, Camden High School Chapter. The club, led by Camden High School senior Ryen Lago and Camden High School social worker Michelle Mellon, aims to raise awareness and provide peer-level support for student-athletes to take control of their mental health journey, and eliminate any stigma around getting the help they may need.
This will be the club’s second athletic event fundraiser, as they launched the initiative during a home field hockey contest this fall.
There will be raffles to support the cause, and we also have a special presentation from International Wire prior to the Varsity contest. Hailey Gladle will deliver remarks on behalf of the Volleyball program.

The Camden Middle School sixth grade concert, scheduled for this evening, is postponed to its designated snow date. That concert will now be held on Wednesday, December 18th at 7 PM.
