At Thursday's Section III Class A Championship Meet, two Blue Devils took top honors! Congratulations to Brenden Chennells (800 meters), and Ellie Hite (pentathlon) on securing event championships on their home track! Brenden ran a 1:59.88 to win and put himself less than a second away from the school record. Ellie endured the grind of a five-event evening (100m Hurdles, High Jump, Shot Put, Long Jump, 800m) to capture the pentathlon championship. She was a top two performer among the field in all five events. A very special mention goes to Anna Gilsenan, who was a close second in the pentathlon at 2,027 points, and won two out of the five events in it.

Softball Section III Final Today Vs. New Hartford at Carrier Park in Syracuse
It's tough to run a track meet efficiently without a great group of officials to help keep the events moving forward. Luckily for us, we had a great group of student volunteers to help us yesterday! They not only kept our events operating smoothly, but also gave our younger students a glimpse into the leadership skills they'll need to succeed in high school.

The first copies of the 2025 CHS Yearbook have found their way into the hands of our seniors! It took just seven minutes for everyone who attended today's senior release party to get their copy, and that left plenty of time for signing! Let's do it again tomorrow for grades 9-11! Students in those grades who have ordered a yearbook can do so on Thursday, 5/29 during tenth period. Snacks and pens will be provided. Remaining books will be distributed on Monday, June 2nd. If you have any questions, contact advisors Natalie Archibee (NArchibee@camdencsd.org) or Amy Andrews (AAndrews@camdencsd.org)
