On Friday, April 5th, the Camden Central School District Athletic Department took a select group of female student-athletes to attend the IIHF Women's World Championship's Women in Sports Summit hosted by Utica University in partnership with Oneida County. Guest speakers included Olympic Gold Medalist Angela Ruggiero (Ice Hockey), and Olympic Bronze Medalist Erin Hamlin (Luge).
There's a big game tonight at the championships! The two teams that have won every World Championship gold in the event's existence, the United States and Canada, meet in a group stage game tonight at 7 PM in Utica.

From departure to return, the NHS students represented our community well throughout the day, and made some great memories to last a lifetime.

On Friday’s trip to Washington DC, the National Honor Society started the day at the Smithsonian’s National Postal Museum. While several hours away, the members got to see a touch of home at the Museum’s Stamp Collecting Table.
The table was made possible through the support of Camden’s own Mystic Stamp Company, along with the Sundman family. It gives museum visitors the opportunity to pick up a selection of collectible stamps as a memento in hopes that maybe they’ll consider taking up the hobby of stamp collecting!
Special thanks to Donald and Chacea Sundman, and the Mystic Stamp Company, for graciously donating a combined total of $10,000 to the society last week.

The NHS Trip to Washington DC featured an appearance by a familiar face. Hannah Crossman '15 was the group's unofficial tour guide for the day. Crossman, a former NHS member herself, has been working in DC as a member of the office staff for Representative Pat Fallon (R-TX-4th).
Of course, the chapter brought along a few tokens of appreciation from home to say thank you. The officer slate presented their gifts in front of the Washington Monument!

Wednesday, April 3rd - All After School Activities are canceled for today due to the obstruction of some local roadways from high winds. Please use caution when traveling this evening.

Please join us for an Eclipse art show reception at the Oneida Lake Arts and Heritage Center! It will be held on Saturday, April 6th from Noon until 5 PM!
There will be student art displayed from grade levels K-12, and the display will remain intact from April 5th to 10th if you want to come see it at a different time!
