Free Meals For All Students To Continue

Income Eligibility Form
Community Eligibility Provision Parent Letter

We are pleased to announce that for the 2025-26 school year, all enrolled students in the Camden Central School District will continue to receive free breakfast and lunch every school day, at no cost to families. This opportunity is available under the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National School Lunch Program. Families do not need to complete household meal applications or income surveys to benefit.

While the Household Income Eligibility form is not required on an individual basis, the District strongly encourages all families to fill one out each year, regardless of their circumstances or needs. The form can be filled out once per household, it’s confidential, and it takes just a few minutes to complete. While we encourage it, it remains optional.

Why Is This Important?
School District funding formulas and government programs often depend on the data from the Income Eligibility Form. More complete data can help drive opportunities that are most reflective of our community’s needs. Examples include continuing free meals, expanded funding for initiatives such as Title I, student application fee waivers for college entrance exams, and other resources for students, staff, and families.

How You Can Help
If you would like to fill out this important but optional form ahead of time, it is available at this link.

Alternatively, one will be sent home with your child at the beginning of the school year, which you can fill out and return to school.

Any forms obtained online through the link above can be mailed to the District Office at your convenience using the following address:
