This week in Mrs. Young's prek with Miss Lis students drew snowmen scenes. PreK student had so much fun in their centers. Great job working so hard!

This week with Miss Lis in art class, 3rd graders from Mrs. Skiiner's class learned about collage art using nontraditional art materials. We analyzed artwork created by Cerealist artist, Michael Ablert. Then, 3rd graders created thier own using recyclable cereal boxes. Great job 3rd graders! What cereals do you recognize?

This is a great opportunity for our families to get anything they may need for the upcoming break. Congratulations to Mrs.Fairbrother (Ms.Fiorini) who was married over the weekend ! She was fortunate to share her special day with teammates Mrs.Holmes and Ms.Schaehfer! How exciting and she celebrated today with cupcakes and rock candy for her students! Best Wishes!

McConnellsville Fourth grade had a fun day ice skating and visiting the Rome Fire Department! Even Stanley, our elf, came along prepared with his ice skates and fire helmet!!!




Did you know that Georgia has the largest aquarium in the world? The students in Mrs. Malenowski's 2nd grade IFA reading group built aquarium scenes with Bloxels today.





McConnellsville teachers welcome Santa at our PTO Holiday Make N' Take event!


McConnellsville Volunteer Fire Department is Hosting Breakfast with Santa on Saturday December 16th.


Connected Community Schools is hosting a craft night at Camden Middle School on Thursday! RSVP to the number in the flyer if you're coming.


The Look at Me, I'm Three! program's December meeting is approaching quickly! The group is intended for district children who have turned three years old on or before December 1st, 2023.
The group will meet on Wednesday, December 20th at 5:30 PM at Camden Elementary School. Snacks and activities are included in this free program.
If you are attending, please RSVP to Patti Ferretti at pferretti@camdencsd.org or 315-245-2616, extension 5200. This will be very helpful in planning the evening.


Mr. Evangelist helped McVille students get in the spirit today during our holiday concert ! Thank you to all of our families who supported our performance!


Congratulations to our McConnellsville Elementary School performers on great shows at today's holiday concerts! Our own Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction, Jason Evangelist, stopped by to lend a hand and his musical talents as part of the festivities.


Students in Mrs. Angell's writing group wrote persuasive essays as to why someone would want to buy their GingerBread House and then were able to build them exactly as written, great work !!

To honor Computer Science Education Week, all students in grades 1-4 have been participating in Hour of Code during library this week. We are playing Kodable, but if your student comes home loving it (like they ALL are!) you can pick from dozens of free coding games by searching "Hour of Code".
