On Monday, November 24th, our Camden CSD 3rd grade teachers hosted their Curriculum Family Night at CES.
Families rotated between stations involving reading, writing, math, mindfulness, and a picture station. Each child was also given a free book from Title I. Attendees took home resources and manipulatives to help their third graders excel at reading comprehension, math facts, writing skills and self regulation strategies.
There were also raffles, with CES students Ryelyn Young and Colton Sanborn taking home the prizes!
The event was well attended, and all had a great time!

After finishing the book Shiloh, students in Mrs. Malenowski's IFA reading group were challenged to build the dog a pen to keep the neighbor's dog from hurting him. They worked together to use the gigantic wood Rigamajig building pieces. They were very creative, even designating ropes to be "electric wire".
