Introducing..... McConnellsville kindergarten teacher Emily Wood!
Emily is a graduate of the College of St. Rose. Her favorite thing about being an educator is watching her students become their own person.
She says she is passionate about providing a safe and loving environment for growth and development, while also leaving room for the right amount silliness each day!
When she’s not teaching, you can find her hiking, taking her dog Goob on adventures, and solving puzzles!

The Look at Me, I'm Three! program is back for a second year at Camden! Dr. Root just stopped by McConnellsville, where he was greeted with plenty of cheer for the new year!

It's time! Best wishes to all on a healthy and successful year ahead!

Raise your hand if you're ready for tomorrow!

Is your student interested in picking up instrumental music this fall? Join the CCSD Music Department on the evening of Thursday, 9/14 for the chance for your student to sample a variety of instruments! Our music faculty will be there to help introduce your child to musical instruments and help them find a fit that works for them. Two local retailers will be on hand to answer questions about rentals, sales, and instrument care!
Matt Donaleski is your person to contact if you have questions.

Three days until our school community comes back together for another year of learning!

The students had such a terrific time when the mobile children's museum visited McConnellsville this spring. Four days until we start making more memories like this one!

Here is another "sneak peak" at McVille as we prepare to welcome our student back in one week !! We are so excited for an amazing year !

Connected Community Schools is hosting a "Touch a Truck" night THIS EVENING, Wednesday, August 30th!
"Touch a Truck" is an opportunity for children and families to come and see a wide variety of service vehicles up close. Your student can sit inside of a fire truck, police car, construction vehicle, etc. while learning more about the people who make vitally important services happen for our community every day.
Contact site coordinator Cole Brown for more information.
By the way.... follow Connected Community Schools on Facebook if you haven't already! The organization recently surpassed 7,000 followers! They post lots of pictures from their events across the region, including here in Camden. It's also a great place to learn about upcoming Connected Schools events in the area, including combined events held between districts!
