On Thursday in Science Mrs. Brazie's 4th grade learned about how our muscles make our bones move. Students made a 'robotic' finger so that they could see how bones, muscles, tendons and joints work together. So Cool !!

The Camden Central School District is pleased to host its annual Homecoming Festival, and Spirit Week activities from September 30th to October 8th, 2022. The week-long festivities will celebrate our schools, our students, our alumni and what it means to be part of the many communities that make up the Camden Central School District. The 2022 theme is “Country Living and Farming in Central New York.” Community Event Highlights One of the area’s time-honored traditions will continue in 2022 as we hold the Homecoming parade in the village. The parade will take place on Saturday, October 8th, with the line of march stepping off at 1 p.m. from Camden High School. The route will continue through the village as it has in the past. The craft and vendor fair will also take place on Saturday, October 8th. It will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Village Park. Vendors and exhibitors will need to register for their 12x12 space at a cost of 30 dollars. Proceeds will benefit future Homecoming celebrations. The Homecoming football game is now scheduled for 7 p.m. on Saturday, October 8th. South Jefferson is the opponent. This is a slight change from a previously listed 6 p.m. start time. More Information We have commissioned a Homecoming web page for your perusal. On that web page, you’ll have the opportunity to register for the parade, and the craft and vendor fair. We also have additional details on the parade, craft and vendor fair, and building-level Spirit Week events. New information is being added periodically as each building finalizes its own spirit week plans. We will use this page as a landing point for this year’s events and future homecoming celebrations. Head to the following URL to access the web page: https://www.camdenschools.org/page/homecoming. You may also access the web page directly from the District website’s home page. In addition, the Camden Homecoming Festival now has its own Facebook Page to share the latest information with the community. It can be found at: https://www.facebook.com/Camden-Homecoming-Festival-105028669037522. You can also find it by searching for “Camden Homecoming Festival.” Contact For clarification on building-level events, contact your school’s main office. As has been the case in prior years, you may also receive building-level spirit week schedules through ParentSquare from your building administrators. For district-wide community events such as the parade, or craft and vendor fair, Kimberly Dean at Camden High School will be your lead point of contact. She can be reached at KDean@CamdenCSD.org. We look forward to celebrating this occasion with each of you.

Opening Day 2022
The Camden Central School District and Connected Community Schools had an excellent turnout for the Connected Community Schools "Touch a Truck" night on Thursday, August 25th at Camden High School. The District would like to express its gratitude to the businesses and agencies who brought trucks for the children of our community to see up close, and to Connected Community Schools for its work in assembling a great schedule of summer programs.
