Camden Schools have a 2 hour delay on Thursday, February 29 due to poor weather conditions
Less than a week until the next meeting of "Look at Me, I'm Three!"

Join Connected Community Schools for some February break fun this week!

Mrs. Gonzalez's class had a ball with their 100th day activities earlier this week!

All after school activities are cancelled for Camden Schools on Thursday, February 15 due to poor weather.
Mrs. Keller and Mrs. Littler's class used candy hearts for a fun and educational Valentine's Day celebration in the classroom! They did a measuring exercise for some practice in learning about non-standard measuring units, and also did a science experiment. They dipped the hearts in soda, vinegar, and water, and were amazed when the ones in soda started moving! But why? The bubbles from the carbonation begin to attach themselves to each candy and begin lifting those candies to the top of the liquid. When the bubbles burst, the candy falls, and new bubbles begin attaching to lift it up once more.

100 days brighter, 100 days smarter, and their hats are also 100 percent awesome.

Mrs. Iverson's first graders celebrated 100 days of learning with some unique activities showcasing all the ways they can count to 100. They made 100th day hats, wrote about what they'd do with 100 dollars, did a vocabulary exercise where they had to write 100 different words, and enjoyed a little treat by counting lollipop licks to 100!

For the 100th day, Miss Mulvaney's first grade class at CES completed a 100 day snack challenge after creating special hats for the big day!
