Children's Book Week 2023: Read Books. Spark Change. Liam says the book Strike Zone, which is part of the young adult series by Derek Jeter, inspired him to push himself to work harder in baseball last season. Also in the book, Derek tries to stop his teammates from bullying a girl on his team. This could inspire other readers to stand up for themselves or stand up for their friends, classmates, or teammates.

Our 8th graders have certainly been busy this week! Over the past two days our 8th grade students had the opportunity to visit Madison Oneida BOCES to learn about the various programs that are offered to Juniors and Seniors. Students had a chance to tour the building and see some students in action...we might have seen a Camden senior learning how to safely climb a tree in the Conservation program. What a great opportunity this trip was to kick off our upcoming classroom lessons on career exploration!
