From the choppy and unpredictable waters of the Bering Sea, to the Camden Middle School Auditorium, Nick "Sunshine" Tokman certainly brought an incredible message to CMS students today! The former Commercial Fisherman and "Deadliest Catch" star talked about life on the open seas in one of the most challenging occupations on earth, while also weaving in plenty of anecdotes about perseverance and staying true to your authentic self.
Afterwards, he made plenty of time for autographs!

Novels in verse are very popular with our students. We obtained these two in our fall book order. I can't wait to hear what they think of them! 📚

Last week we told you we received our first delivery of new books in the Middle School Media Center. Today we'd love to share some biographies that came in that shipment. The students always love to read the newest Who Was books and I think we found some interesting ones we didn't yet have. We also found a few interesting biographies for them to use in the 6th grade Wax Museum Project late this year and the 5th grade Social Influencer Project.
