Fire Inspection Notice
“Notice is hereby given that the annual inspection for 2024 of the Camden Central School District school buildings for fire hazards which might endanger the lives of students, teachers, employees therein, has been completed and the report thereof is available at the office of Camden Central School District at 51 Third Street, Camden, NY 13316 for inspection by all interested persons.”

The Summer Nutrition Program is underway! The program operates with the support of the USDA and allows anyone 18 years of age or under to receive a free breakfast and lunch on each day the program operates. For 2024, walk-in service will be provided at Camden Elementary School. The program runs on a Monday through Friday schedule beginning on Monday, July 8th, and it will run until Friday, August 16th. Meal times are 7:45 AM to 9:15 AM for breakfast, and 11:15 AM to 12:30 PM for lunch.

Here's the scoop..... CMS 5th and 6th graders were able to beat the heat with a year-end ice cream social courtesy of our local Stewart's Shops locations! There was more than enough to go around, so some of the district office folks came to enjoy as well!

Look at this new opportunity through NYS 4-H! This would be a great way to learn more about animal science opportunities if you are interested in having a career in the animal science industry


Shoutout to the new high school agriculture teacher Ms. Curtis training this summer through CASE for next year's agriculture courses!


From June 20th to 22nd, members of the team at Camden Middle School visited Arlington, VA and Washington DC to accept the award for being one of 42 schools recognized as a National School to Watch at the National Middle Level Forum Conference. On hand to accept the award were Mrs. DerCola, Mrs. Trnchik, Dr. Baker, Mrs. Morrison and Mrs. Smith. Congratulations to our entire middle school team, and our students, on this achievement!






FFA member and agriculture student Mary Hall spent the day in the agriculture room! Mary educated each agriculture class on her poultry as well as agricultural poultry opportunities inside and outside of Camden's agriculture program!





CMS was one of 42 schools recognized as a National School to Watch at the National Middle Level Forum Conference. On hand to accept the award were Mrs. DerCola, Mrs. Trnchik, Dr. Baker, Mrs. Morrison and Mrs. Smith.




CMS administrators and Principal's Advisory Committee members are in Washington DC to accept our National Schools to Watch Designation!



The Camden FFA hosted their awards banquet on June 13th. Advisor's Willson, Marshman, and Curtis are extremely proud of how professional the Camden FFA members were. There was so much to celebrate this year and so much to look forward to in the coming year! The photos will enable you to see a glimpse into the amazing banquet of the Camden FFA!









Over the past two days, CMS 5th and 6th graders were able to beat the heat with some tasty ice cream donated by Stewart's Shops! We were excited to have Dr. Root, Mr. Evangelist, and other office staff come by as well and enjoy the ice cream social! Thank you, Stewart's!




Connected Community Schools is hosting Open Hub Hours on Tuesday!


Come on out and join Connected Community Schools for their budgeting and board games event this evening! First Source will be there to talk about budgeting while kids get to play board games with Connected Community Schools. There will be raffles and 25 dollar gift cards given away while supplies last.
