Pennies for Puppies/Coins for Kitties is back at McConnellsville, and it begins on Monday!

Support students in Mrs. Malenowski's IFA Third Grade Reading Group by sending in your spare change to school as they raise money for the Wanderer's Rest Humane Association in Canastota! The group has set an initial goal of $500, and they are looking to reach that goal by Friday, November 7th.

In line with this initiative, the group is reading the classic "Shiloh" by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor, which is about the efforts of a young boy to give the title character, a beagle, a better chance at life after prolonged mistreatment. The students are hoping to make a difference by helping plenty of dogs and cats from across the area through this yearly initiative.

If you have any questions about how you can help, contact Shelley Malenowski at smalenowski@camdencsd.org.
