What an amazing concert. On December 6th our school put on a magnificent holiday concert. The students sang a collection of holiday songs. A huge thank you to Mr. Jerome for all your hard work and dedication to preparing our students for this wonderful event.

Each year, Mrs. Guhin gives students the opportunity to earn an award for the "Jingle Bell Challenge". Students must perform 4 songs prior to "Jingle Bells" before they can try the challenge. The challenge must be completed by Christmas break to count! If they can play it, while I play piano, they earn a certificate, candy bar of their choice, candy cane and Christmas pop-it key chain! My first three winners this year are: Annabelle Slover, Hope Johnson, and Serenity Birmingham! I love their smiles! Great job girls!
Happy Thanksgiving from all of 1st Grade. They were able to gather together and share a meal before leaving for break.
Mrs. Mitchell and Mrs. Ouellette's class is learning about force in science. They did an experiment to learn about balanced and unbalanced forces.
Today to celebrate the day before Thanksgiving break, Miss Libertella’s class had a balloon parade. They read “Balloons Over Broadway,” and celebrated by making their very own balloon animals!
Mrs. Dailey's Class made Pumpkin Pie in a cup . We had to read the directions of the recipe and follow them to make the treat and then we graphed how many kids liked it and didn’t.

A local radio station is still listing local schools that closed last Thursday due to poor weather. Please know this does not mean these schools are closed tomorrow. The District is watching the weather closely and will make the call first thing in the morning.
