A very special thank you to the men and women who come to school each day and serve our students breakfast and lunch. Today we salute you on this School Lunch Hero Day !

What a great way to come into school on a Friday ! Thank you to the student council for your warm and enthusiastic greeting this morning.

Time is running out to secure an included t-shirt and color packet with your Camden Color Blast run registration!

Students at Camden Elementary School received a visit from local children's author Jermiko Thomas this morning! He shared one of his many inspirational stories to the students in attendance.
Jermiko is a fitting guest to have at school as we wrap up our April elementary character focus: Perseverance. He was unable to speak until the age of six, but went on to become a successful professional and published author!
We also hosted him during the District-wide reading extravaganza earlier this month, so students were excited to see that he was coming back!

Camden Elementary School Families: Check out this FREE Title I reading event coming soon to CES! Kailee Petrie will be your point of contact for any questions about this event.

The April "Cougars with Character" assembly at Camden Elementary School featured a VERY special unveiling! The event will be held on Saturday, June 3rd in Forest Park.

Scenes from this afternoon's Connected Community Schools Egg Hunt at Camden Elementary! The weather is impeccable, the turnout was great and we're thrilled to see many village residents capitalizing on the opportunity to get outside today as well!

If you can be anything in life ...Be Kind ! Have a wonderful break everyone. Take some time to relax, play outside, read and we will see you very soon.

Miss Libertella's class did a sink or float experiment with Peeps. They made predictions and after observing what happened, drew their conclusions. It was a wonderful way to celebrate the week before break!

Don't forget about the upcoming April meeting for "Look at Me, I'm Three!"

CES Student Council held their second annual Plastic Egg Sale at the Cougar Store. Students had a chance to purchase a plastic egg with a surprise inside! Golden tickets were also hidden in three of the eggs for a bigger prize! Congratulations to our Golden Ticket Winners- Lincoln Chase, Bridget Piland and Brody Fuller (pictured below with student council members Bridget and Clover). All money raised will help support the upcoming 4th grade Gym Jam!

On Wednesday, March 29th, students from Camden Middle School, Camden Elementary School, and McConnellsville Elementary School joined our Connected Community Schools team for "Minute to Win It" Game Night! Kittie Popple's fourth graders at Camden Elementary School have been working with new Model Schools Coordinator Brad Seidman over several weeks. The students have come a long way from where they started from in using the Castle Learning platform. Mr. Seidman brought in a chocolate pizza to share with the class to celebrate their hard work!
