Greenhouse management has various committees formed to take care of the various vertical growing systems! The supervisor of the class over watches all committees to ensure proper care of the systems! The supervisor even had a special job of guiding students with the planting of their "spider plant babies" this week!
This week, February 3rd-7th, is National School Counseling Week! We couldn't be prouder of our incredible team of school counselors across our buildings. They play a unique and very important role in supporting our students so that they can thrive and reach their full potential!

The Camden Central School District has cancelled all after-school activities for today, Thursday, February 6th. Tonight's sectional volleyball match at Rome will be re-scheduled.
Often our students find books that they really like and stick with a series. But what happens when they get in a rut? We like to help them find other options. Our latest display in the CMS Media Center offers alternatives to one of our most popular series in the library. If your student is a fan of I Survived but you'd like to see them reading something a little more challenging, have them stop in and we'll help them chose the perfect book!

The Camden FFA chapter is holding a strawberry sale! These Strawberries are available in one pound containers and sold in quantities of two containers, four containers, or eight containers.
Proceeds will benefit FFA activities. Please order no later than February 14th. Delivery will be made to CHS in early March, where you will need to pick up your order after school hours. Direct-to-home shipping will not be available for this sale.

Camden FFA is beyond proud of the members that competed in todays Leadership Development Events. Each student has spent weeks preparing for this event and did an outstanding job. Many valuable lessons are learned through FFA but the best part of the day is being with their "FFA- Family."
FFA gives students the opportunity to grow in various ways. Please see the photo that exemplifies how outstanding our FFA members are. Camden FFA members spent time today working with each other to instill confidence in each other before their competitions.
Nine outstanding Camden FFA members are spending today competing in various Leadership Development Events at OESJ CSD. Camden FFA advisors Marshman and Curtis are beyond proud of the students efforts to prepare for the event as well as the courage the students have to public speak in front of judges! Last week middle school agriculture students in 8th grade learned the art of butter making! Students even had the opportunity to add their freshly grown basil into their homemade butter! You never know what's "cook-in" in the agriculture classroom!
Happy Shelfie Day! The NY Public Library founded the event in 2014 to encourage people to share selfies at their libraries.
