Last week was an "egg-citing" time in the agriculture room! Chick week was full of hands on learning opportunities from learning about egg development as well as proper handling of live chicks! This week the "Hatching Minds" cart will be traveling the building with live chicks for hands on lessons regarding chickens!

National Assistant Principals' Week
These Blue Devils are state competition ready, and coming soon to a (Salt) City near you! Camden Middle School Science Olympiad makes its first appearance at the state level this weekend, with a limited number of events set for Friday, and a full schedule on Saturday at East Syracuse-Minoa High School! The Middle and High School Odyssey of the Mind teams will be on the other side of town at the New York State Fairgrounds for the 2025 New York State Odyssey of the Mind Association Championships on Saturday. The students in Mrs. Currie and Mrs. Poore's ELA classes have been reading and analyzing poems. We organized an Elite Eight bracket in honor of March Madness! Students were able to vote daily to determine an overall favorite! Emily Dickinson's "Hope is a Thing with Feathers" was awarded the top spot and received a blue ribbon! Agriculture students spent today training the new therapy dog on confidence. Students had the option to lead the dog through the obstacle course using positive body language and speaking with confidence! Therapy dog Thursday is always a hit in the agriculture room!
