Happy 100th Day of School from the Camden Central School District!

Wednesday means the puppies from Lewis Manor Labradoodles visit the students of Camden Middle School! Today they were able to snuggle some adorable little chocolate colored sweeties. Even more importantly, they learned about service dogs in training. The students learned that if they ever see a service dog with a vest on in public, they should not approach and pet the dog because that dog is doing an important job. Thank you to our friends for visiting us! 🐶

This week, the CMS Student Council is hosting Cabin Fever Spirit Week! Yesterday was Famous Couples Day and our kids rocked it! See if you know any of these dynamic duos!

Students have been working on this 300 piece puzzle, called Gnome Sweet Gnome, during lunches and study breaks in the CMS Media Center. Friends from Mr. Donaleski's class placed the last pieces yesterday when they were visiting to pick out new books. 🧩

CMS students knocked it out of the park with Couples Day during Student Council's Cabin Fever Spirit Week! Great job! Students are also able to purchase wooden roses for $1 each to support Student Council.

Due to inclement weather conditions, the Camden Central School District has cancelled all after-school activities for Monday, February 10th, 2025.

Five students from Camden Middle School recently had the honor of representing the Camden Central School District at the New York State School Music Association’s Zone 4 Junior High Area All-State Festival. The festival brings together students from across Oneida, Oswego, and Herkimer Counties to perform and rehearse together over a two day period.
Selection is a highly competitive process based on a student’s 2024 NYSSMA evaluation. In order to participate, a musician must rank at the top of the proficiency list for their instrument among all entries in the Zone, and receive a recommendation from their school music teacher.
Eighth grade student Max Scholz represented Camden in the Area All-State Junior Band on the Alto Saxophone.
In the Area All-State Junior Orchestra, Camden had four representatives: Eighth graders Olivia Potter, Drew Collins, and Adalyn Whitby were accompanied by seventh grader Katherine Dean to this year’s festival.
By participating, students have the opportunity to challenge themselves independently. They must prepare their music with diligent practice habits without the benefit of group rehearsals during their class time. In addition, students get to build connections and share ideas with their peers from across the area.
