Our Pre-K classes recently finished up their unit about clothing, and naturally, they decided to celebrate by having a fashion show! Each class paraded around McConnellsville Elementary as an audience of K-5 students looked on!

Did You Know?
McConnellsville Elementary recently recognized 102 of its 237 K-5 Students for maintaining perfect attendance in the last month! That’s 43 percent of the student body among those grade levels. We thank you for your continued commitment in getting your child to school each day!

No matter how you stack it, there was no toppling the fun our McVille students and families had at the McVille PTO's "Family Game Night" back on January 23rd!

Our Mid-Winter Spirit Week has a Valentine theme this year! It begins on Friday for Super Bowl Day!

Robots galore in the library with Mrs. Malenowski’s reading groups! 2nd graders used Robot Mouse, while 3rd graders used Ozobots to act out different parts of what we’ve been reading.

Our Connected Community Schools team has been quite busy over the past few months! Here's a recap of what they've been up to lately:

This afternoon, McConnellsville Elementary School held its January Character Assembly! This group of students was recognized for their approach to this month's focus: Respect!
In addition, McVille recognizes an Adult of the Month who exemplifies this trait. This month's winner was Occupational Therapist Shannon Bell!
Congratulations to our recipients! Keep at it, Bobcats!

There are still spots available for the re-scheduled "January" meeting of the Let's Play program!
This special meeting of our monthly two year old program will meet on Wednesday, February 5th at CES, beginning at 10 AM.
