Room 201 grew lettuce in their tower garden with help from the Greenhouse Management Class this fall. It was harvested last week and the 9th period was able to eat salads made with it today.

Eleanor finished reading Pumpkin's Story and has already started reading Sisters.
Akadieon has finished reading two books that he wrote on his bookmark!
Addison finished reading the book Took and already picked a new book to read. Jaylena finished reading two of the books she wrote on her bookmark and started a third that she is borrowing from the library.
Elijah added snowboarding to the list of other sports topics he plans to read about this marking period.
Baron is psyched to share that he finished reading The League and already started reading Football Genius. His classmate Jayden is excited to share that she recently finished two books from her bookmark.
Fifth-grader Pauly is so close to finishing a book he has been working really hard on titled The Crossover by Kwame Alexander! He is already planning to read Booked next, also by Kwame Alexander.
Maddison L. And Maddison W. both have book updates to share. Maddison L. finished reading two books from her bookmark and added another. Maddison W. just finished reading the book I Know Your Secret and has already started reading The Twin.
Kali, Christina, and Fi are cruising along with their reading goals. Kali is making progress with the book Hard Luck, Christina finished two books and is excited to finish more books, and Fi is almost finished with the book Took.
Camden Greenhouse Management students are learning all about soil. Students "spiced" up their learning by creating "Soil Dating Profiles."
The agriculture classroom gained a new friend today "Bambi." Bambi is a 2 month old Flemish Giant rabbit!
7th grade agriculture students went on an adventure today to learn about New York Agriculture. Students even had the opportunity to learn about the agricultural history of Camden New York!
Mackenzie is making progress with her Marking Period 2 reading goals! She recently finished reading Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy.
Alaina and Jade are making progress with their Marking Period 2 reading goals. They each just finished a graphic novel and are already reading their next books!
Reading goal updates: Avery has read all the books he set out to read by January 26, so he has made another stack of books on the back of his bookmark! He is currently reading Extreme Animal Rumble. Annabelle has read so many classroom and school library books that she has to start requesting books to borrow from other school libraries! She is currently reading the graphic novel adaptation of A Wrinkle in Time.

The Camden High School musical is looking to include some younger students in portions of this year's production of Oliver! The show will be held on March 1st and March 2nd. They will be having open auditions for students in grades 4-6 at the High School Auditorium Thursday, Dec 7th from 5-6:30 PM. No signups are required, we hope to see you there!
