Registration
For your convenience, we offer centralized registration. You can receive the necessary forms to register your child via mail, email, or fax. You can also make arrangements to receive them in person at the District Office. Fill the packet out at home, and return it with the necessary documentation to the District office. If you need any photocopies of your registration documents made, they are available upon request.
To enroll your children, you must complete one registration packet per child. If you are enrolling your child in either the Pre-K program and/or Kindergarten, there are separate packets for each level that are different than the enrollment packet. Please refer to the applicable file for each (Universal Pre-K enrollment packet or Kindergarten packet). [Additionally, you will also need to download the coverlet pages (or, "wraparound") for each respective packet.]
For the information you seek, please choose from the following options below. Click the appropriate heading and the section will open.

Please plan ahead - the following documents are REQUIRED for each student being enrolled. Some exceptions may apply under the McKinney-Vento Act
- Birth Certificate (and/or other satisfactory documents [refer to page 5 of the basic enrollment packet for list of acceptable documents]) - It is NOT necessary to provide a social security card if your student(s) is in elementary and/or middle school. If may be required at the high school level.
- DSS-2999 Form if in foster care.
- Immunization Record
- Custody Decree bearing a judge's signature, if parents are divorced OR if the student resides with someone other than the biological parent (i.e., aunt/uncle/grandparents, other family members, etc.).
- Proof of Residency (upon request District officials may ask you to furnish verification that the address listed on enrollment forms is your actual place of residence). It is always a good idea to bring along proof at the time of enrollment.
-
The McKinney-Vento Act states that children and youth who lack “a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence” will be considered homeless.
If you believe your child potentially fits this definition, please fill out the CCSD Housing Questionaire. This will help the District determine what services you or your child may be able to receive. If you cannot obtain it digitally, it can be made available at any District building upon request, along with registration packets and other necessary documents.
McKinney-Vento eligible students have the right to:
- receive a free, appropriate public education;
- enroll in school immediately, even if lacking documents normally required for enrollment, or having missed application or enrollment deadlines during any period of homelessness;
- enroll in school and attend classes while the school gathers needed documents;
- continue attending the school of origin, or enroll in the local attendance area school if attending the school of origin is not in the best interest of the student or is contrary to the request of the parent, guardian, or unaccompanied youth;
- receive transportation to and from the school of origin, if requested by the parent or guardian, or by the local liaison on behalf of an unaccompanied youth; and
- receive educational services comparable to those provided to other students, according to each student’s need.
Our McKinney-Vento Act Liason is Mrs. Mary Lynne Szczerba, Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction. She can be reached at 315-245-4075.

We are accepting Pre-K registration packets for children who will be 4 on or before December 1, 2026. The packets can be picked up at the Registrar's Office located in the Administration Building .
The Camden Central School District offers free Universal Pre-K to district residents. Children in our program develop the language, literacy, math, and social skills they need for success in kindergarten. Breakfast or lunch is provided, as well as transportation. Arrangements are in place to transport students in the Camden Elementary School catchment area to McConnellsville each day.
Parental involvement is a key component of the program. Parents will have opportunities to participate alongside their child in and out of the classroom throughout the year.
Spots are limited, and include full-day and half-day options. We anticipate continuing to offer both in the 2026-27 academic year, pending enrollment and available funding. Please indicate your preferred program when registering. If the number of interested applicants exceeds the capacity for either option, a lottery will be held to determine who receives their preference. If you are not selected, you will receive an opportunity for your non-preferred option.
For consideration to receive a full-day opportunity, it is advised that you please register no later than March 6th, 2026.
If a student is unhoused or has uncertain housing as defined under the McKinney-Vento Act, please add the CCSD Housing Questionaire, as it helps determine eligibility for services your child may qualify for.

Each child admitted to kindergarten for the 2026-27 school year should reach his/her 5th birthday on or before December 1, 2026. Kindergarten features open enrollment, although early registration is encouraged to limit the impact of any issues that could arise.
If your child is currently enrolled in Camden Central School District's Universal Pre-Kindergarten program, their registration will carry over and they will NOT need to register for kindergarten.
Please fill out the three forms listed below. If a student is unhoused or has uncertain housing as defined under the McKinney-Vento Act, please add the CCSD Housing Questionaire, as it helps determine eligibility for services your child may qualify for.

The following forms are to be utilized for permanent (long-term) changes only. We ask that families keep their pick-up and drop-off locations to a minimum. The District's recommendation is two locations, one of which should be the home address.
Temporary Changes: If you need a temporary transportation change, the parent must give the student a note to be approved by their home school. The note should include their name, address they are going to, and the contact phone number of the person at that address. Please indicate clearly the change, and the reason for the change, along with your phone number to confirm details. If approved, the note will be given to the bus driver on that day. Bus drivers are not allowed to accept notes that were not approved by the home school, and a change will not be honored without one. Notes are only valid for a one day change.
- Change of Address Form: (NEW HOME)
- Change of Transportation Form: For other changes to the pick-up and/or drop-off points [change in babysitter, etc.]
The district has a 48-hour processing time frame for establishing permanent bus transportation, or for making permanent changes to bus transportation. Parents may need to transport their child during this period.
