Water Quality Testing
The District completed the NYS required water testing for lead in their school building during 2026. Please see the important letter about the test process, test outcomes and remedial action taken. Testing was conducted in partnership with the Oneida-Herkimer-Madison BOCES School Health and Safety Service.

District-Wide Safety Plan
The Camden Central School District's board-approved District Wide Safety Plan for the 2025-26 school year is now available. The original draft was approved at the Board's regular meeting on August 12th, 2025. The required public comment period ran from Wednesday, July 16th, 2025 until Tuesday, August 12th, 2025. Any further questions regarding this plan can be directed to the Camden CSD Business Office.
An amendment that ensured compliance with Desha's Law (Cardiac Incident Planning) was approved at the January 2026 Board of Education meeting.
Fire Inspection Notice
6/2/25 – “Notice is hereby given that the annual inspections for 2024-2025 of Camden Elementary, McConnellsville Elementary, Camden Middle, Camden High, Maintenance Building, Bus Garage, and Administration Building of the Camden Central School District for fire hazards which might endanger the lives of students, teachers, employees therein, have been completed and the report thereof is available at the office of the Camden Central School District at 51 Third Street, Camden, NY for inspection by all interested persons.”
Inspection was completed on May 20th, 2025.

In accordance with the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act of 1987 (AHERA), a copy of the Camden CSD building inspection report and management plan is available for review during business hours by appointment.
