Optional Chromebook Insurance Available

The Camden Central School District is partnering with the Worth Ave. Group to provide an opportunity to obtain device insurance for school-issued student Chromebooks for the 2026-27 school year. This voluntary program provides insurance against financial liability for covered loss or damage to the device, as stipulated by the Worth Avenue Group. 

Please note that the District does not administer this plan directly, and that participation in the plan is at your option. 

The plan provides one-year term insurance with a zero dollar deductible, and device damage, theft, and vandalism coverage up to 310 dollars. The cost is a one-time payment of 35 dollars for the year, starting September 1st, 2026. The policy term concludes on August 31st, 2027. 

Chromebooks are issued to students in grades 5-12 in excellent or new condition and must be returned in the same state. Families are responsible for any accidental or intentional damage to the device, whether it occurs at school or at home. Please report any damage immediately to Mrs. Thomas in the Library (Grades 5-8) or Mr. Turner in Rm 624 (Grades 9-12)
