Back-To-School Hub
Welcome to the Camden Central School District's "Back to School" Hub for the 2026-27 school year. Our goal is to provide the most up-to-date information available for our families in a convenient location. You can also find this information throughout our website. You may have also received additional information from your child's school through ParentSquare. We're looking forward to welcoming all new and returning students!
The first day of school for K-12 students is Thursday, September 3rd. Please note that this falls before Labor Day this year. This date aligns us with the MOBOCES calendar followed by many of our peer districts within the MOBOCES region.
The first day of school for our Universal Pre-K Students will be Tuesday, September 8th.

Routes are expected to become available in Mid-August.
In the interim, please read the following message about pick-up and drop-off addresses if you have not done so already. This was also sent via ParentSquare on Monday, July 27th, 2026.
Pick-up and drop-off locations, including child care providers, are currently set to carry over from the end of the 2025-26 school year.
If you have changed addresses, or need to make any other changes to pick-up and drop-off points for your children for the 2026-27 academic year, please call the District Registrar’s office at 315-245-4096 to make those arrangements. The best time to call is Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM until 3:30 PM. Please do so by the close of business on Monday, August 17th for best results.
If you have no changes, you do not need to take any action.
Note: To improve efficiency, maintain consistency and timing in routing, and optimize student supervision, the District continues to request that families use as few permanent pick-up and drop-off points as possible. We recommend no more than two permanent locations, one of which should be a student’s home address. If you do not feel you can meet our guideline regarding two permanent pick-up/drop-off locations, please contact the Transportation Dept. at 315-245-0878 to discuss your options.

Just Get In Line!
The Camden Central School District continues to work with the New York State Child Nutrition Program Administration to provide a Community Eligibility School Meal Program in support of our students, families and community. We were approved for the Community Eligibility Provision in the 2017-18 school year, and we were recently approved to continue offering the program through at least the 2029-30 academic year.ALL students enrolled at Camden Central School District are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at NO CHARGE to your household each day. Your child will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or complete an application.
The only request that the Business Office has is for you to complete the confidential Household Income Eligibility Form, one per family, that will be sent home with your student at the start of the year. The Income Eligibility Form will assist the District in obtaining additional funding from the State and Federal Government.
Any questions may be addressed to the District Business Office at 315-245-1024.

Comprehensive listings of District Policies and the District's Administrative Regulations are always available on our CamdenSchools.org website. As students grow, their responsibilities and opportunities can evolve, so each school building has its own school-wide expectations and procedures in addition to these that must be followed.
