Mr. Jason Evangelist was appointed as the Superintendent of Schools on July 1st, 2025, after four years as the District's Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction Prior to his appointment as Superintendent, he spent six months as Interim Superintendent of Schools. Mr. Evangelist began his career in education as an Elementary School Teacher in the Whitesboro School District. He later served as Assistant Principal for Grades 5-12 in the Westmoreland Central School District, and Principal at Nicholas A. Walbran Elementary School in Oriskany. Following these building-level experiences, he became the Assistant Superintendent for Teaching, Learning, and Accountability for PK-4 in the Rome City School District. Prior to coming to Camden, Jason previously served as Superintendent of Schools for the Holland Patent School District.
