Speech and Language Pathologist – Long-Term Substitute (District Wide)
Minimum Requirements:
New York State Certification and Licensure
Terms of Employment:
Compensation per CTA Contract
11/6/26 - 12/22/26 (effective dates are dependent upon the leave of the employee)
Performance Responsibilities:
To provide speech/language services to students who qualify under special education
To assess and evaluate students through IST/CSE.
Case management responsibilities and bill for Medicaid services
To provide each child a program of service that meets his/her individual needs, interests and abilities.
To create an environment conducive to learning as it applies to a student’s IEP.
To guide students’ learning towards the achievement of curricular goals as it pertains to the student's IEP goals for speech/language.
To perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Special Education/Director of Pre-K.
May include language development services for the district-wide Pre-K program.
