Office Specialist II
Location: Camden High School
Compensation: $36,550.85 to start, with the option of Health Benefits and NYS Retirement
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week / 12 months per year.
Appointment Date: April 2026
The Camden Central School District is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Office Specialist II. This position performs a variety of responsible clerical and office support duties requiring knowledge of office procedures, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a busy office environment.
Typical Responsibilities May Include (Illustrative Only):
â—Ź Providing clerical and administrative support to office staff, students, teachers, and administrators
â—Ź Answering phones, greeting visitors, and assisting the public
â—Ź Maintaining records, files, and databases
â—Ź Preparing correspondence, reports, and other documents
â—Ź Processing forms, mail, and district documentation
â—Ź Utilizing computer systems and standard office software
â—Ź Performing other related clerical duties as assigned
Qualifications:
â—Ź Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma â—Ź One year of clerical or office experience required
â—Ź Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills
â—Ź Ability to maintain confidentiality and interact professionally with staff, students, and the public
Civil Service Requirement:
This position is classified under the Oneida County Civil Service system. The selected candidate must meet civil service requirements for the title of Office Specialist II and may be required to take and pass a future civil service examination and be reachable on the eligible list.
