CAMDEN, NY - Camden High School Principal Aaron Fiorini is pleased to announce the students who have achieved top ten academic standing in the Camden High School Class of 2026. This group represents some of the Camden Central School District’s highest achieving students on an academic and personal level, and the District would like to take the opportunity to congratulate each one on this milestone.

The Valedictorian of the Class of 2026 is Ella Winters. She is the daughter of Heather and Tim Willson of Blossvale. Ella plans to attend the State University of New York at Oswego to study Broadcasting and Digital Media with an eye toward pursuing a dream career in media production for a news outlet. She was accepted to a dozen colleges and universities. Ella envisions herself educating the public on important issues and events of the day, and creating a positive impact wherever she lands. She also aims to experience many cultures and improve her understanding of the world through travel, and live a life that is fulfilling.

The Salutatorian of the Class of 2026 is Lawrence Fiume Jr. He is the son of Stephenie Hazlewood of Camden, and the late Lawrence Fiume Sr. of Canastota. An all-state clarinetist and gifted multi-instrumentalist, Fiume plans to continue expanding on his musical talents at the prestigious Crane School of Music, part of the State University of New York at Potsdam. At Crane, he will study Music Composition. Lawrence is undecided on a specific career path, but plans to have it involve music. In the interim, he wants to broaden his personal horizons by getting to know new people and developing his skills.

3rd - Alexis Albrecht is the daughter of Jaime and Adam Albrecht of Camden. She plans to attend Mohawk Valley Community College to study Childhood Education. Her career goals include working in the education field and becoming an education administrator. Alexis would also like to either coach or volunteer as a judge for the Odyssey of the Mind program. She also plans to continue to pursue her favorite activities: making art, playing music, and playing tennis.

4th - Jacob LeBreux is the son of Victoria and Oscar LeBreux of Taberg. He plans to attend Mohawk Valley Community College to study Mechanical Engineering, with designs on an eventual transfer to Clarkson University. He wants to be successful in his field, and dreams of renovating a Victorian home at some point.

5th - Tyler Perkins is the son of Tonya Woodard of Camden. He plans to attend Mohawk Valley Community College to study Cybersecurity. His ultimate goals are to establish his career in the field, and travel around the world.

6th - Natalie Hotaling is the daughter of Kayle Widomski and Shane Hotaling of Camden. She plans to attend Mohawk Valley Community College to study Health Sciences, and then transfer to a four-year institution to pursue a degree in radiation therapy. She says she is very excited and fascinated by medical imaging and radiation therapy, and her goal is to help people as much as she possibly can through her career and beyond.

7th - Adam Gonzalez is the son of Anthony and Nicole Gonzalez of Camden. He plans on attending the Rochester Institute of Technology to pursue a degree in Computer Engineering, with a possible interest in Civil Engineering. He’s excited to get his degree while participating in RIT’s Co-Op program, which is ranked fifth nationally. He hopes to use his connections and degree from RIT to land some quality career options from top employers.

8th - Gage Grinnell is the son of Melissa and Tom Grinnell of Blossvale. He plans to attend the State University of New York at Fredonia to work on a double major in Acting and Business Administration. His dream is to become an actor and stay involved in theatre regardless of how his career aims develop, while also receiving the educational safety net of a Master’s in Business Administration.

9th - Katelyn Hall is the daughter of Stephen Hall and Candace Wolff of Camden. She plans to attend Le Moyne College in Syracuse to major in Nursing. After her studies, she hopes to continue her education through experience by traveling abroad to study healthcare practices in other nations. Using that knowledge, she wants to become a nurse practitioner specializing in labor and delivery.

10th -  Autumn Porter is the daughter of James Porter and Brittany DeKay of Blossvale. She plans to study Environmental Biology at the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse. After completing her studies, she hopes to take care of the planet by working in the field with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, or by working for a sustainable clothing brand.
