As you may be aware, the District currently has one remaining snow/emergency day available in the 2025–2026 school calendar. While weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances can certainly impact our plans at any time, we wanted to share our intended calendar adjustment should we not need to utilize this final emergency day.
At this time, the District intends to designate Friday, May 22, 2026, as a “Give Back” day if no additional snow/emergency days are required prior to that date. In that case, students and staff would not report to school on Friday, May 22, 2026.
If circumstances require the use of an additional snow/emergency day before May 22, school will remain in session on Friday, May 22, 2026, as a regular instructional day.
Additionally, should the District need to utilize an emergency day after May 22, the District will pivot to Remote Learning, as previously communicated.
If circumstances change, we will communicate any necessary calendar adjustments to students, staff, and families as soon as possible.
