Dear Parents/ Guardians and Community Members,
In alignment with New York State Education Department (NYSED) guidelines, we believe families are vital partners in our decision-making. As we plan for the 2026-2027 school year, we are seeking your feedback on how to best invest our federal Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) grant funds.
Here is how we currently use these "Title" grants to support our students:
Title I, Part A (Basic Programs): Supports and strengthens core reading, writing, and math instruction across our classrooms.
Title II, Part A (Effective Instruction): Funds additional teachers to reduce 1st-grade class sizes and provides writing professional development for our staff.
Title IV, Part A (Student Support & Enrichment): Funds our high school CHOICE program, which provides mentorship and encouragement to help students graduate.
