On Friday, June 5th, the Camden Central School District community came together en masse to celebrate the Class of 2026 at their Class Night Celebration. Over the course of the evening, 212 awards totaling $241,586 in value were presented from members of our community, along with local, regional and national organizations.
The continued and expanded generosity was significant. While there was a slight reduction in the number of total awards from 215 to 212 after a massive increase last year, the total value among this year’s awards grew by a staggering $40,651 over the 2025 event.
That is funding that will be put to good use as students prepare to move into the workforce, college, trade school, the military, volunteerism, or another pathway.
The event also included the 2026 Yearbook Dedication Award, which was presented to Camden High School science teacher Kimberly Dean. In addition, the Student “Seed of Selflessness” was announced, and this year’s recipient was senior Bella Keller.
