Mrs. Abrams calls up a student

CAMDEN, NY - Every student and family that attended went home a winner as Camden Elementary School hosted “Bingo For Books” on Wednesday, May 26th. The school gymnasium was transformed into a kid-friendly bingo hall, with students receiving the opportunity to win wonderful prizes furnished by the Camden Elementary School PTO.

Principal Craig Ferretti and assistant principal Amanda Mitchell served as the bingo callers for the evening.

This event was a Title I reading event. As part of the festivities, each student was invited to select a book of their choosing from a wide array of genres and titles. By empowering students to choose a book that fits their interest and making those titles of interest accessible to our families, the students will be equipped to continue the learning process over the upcoming summer break.
