Top Ten Class of 2023

Camden Central High School Principal Mr. Christopher Centner is pleased to announce the students who have achieved top ten academic standing in the graduating class of 2023. The District would like to congratulate each one of these students for their achievements, their dedication, and their contributions to our schools. 

Connor Perrotta is the Valedictorian of the Class of 2023. He is the son of Joseph and Vicki Perrotta of Lee Center. After graduation Connor will be attending college at a school yet to be determined to major in Creative Writing/English. Connor’s goal is to become a great novelist.  

Jacey Hinds is the Salutatorian of the Class of 2023. She is the daughter of Jason and Billie Jo Hinds of Blossvale. After graduation Jacey will be attending the Mohawk Valley Community College to major in Psychology. Jacey’s goals are to continue playing sports at the collegiate level while earning her degree. She hopes to use her education in Psychology to make a positive impact on the lives of others. 

3rd – Katie Hite is the daughter of Dustin and Christina Hite of Camden. Katie is planning to attend SUNY ESF to pursue a degree in Landscape Architecture. Her goal is to use her degree to open and run her own Landscape architecture business while travelling the world for inspiration.  She plans to stay close to home as she wants to be an active member of the community participating in efforts to revitalize the local area.

4th – Morgan Keil is the daughter of Michael and Jennifer Keil of Blossvale.  Morgan plans to attend Rochester Institute of Technology to major in Psychology and American Sign Language. Her goals are to work in a school setting to advocate for students and help them with their personal struggles. 

5th – Marjorie Castilla is the niece of Stephanie Allen of Camden.  Marjorie plans to attend SUNY Cortland and major in Biology/Biomedical Sciences.  Her goals are to pursue a career in the medical field where she can help others.  She hopes that this career will also make her successful so she can provide for her family. 

6th – Koen Turner is the son of James and Heidi Turner of Taberg.  Koen plans to attend college at a school yet to be determined to major in Civil Engineering. His goals include becoming an engineer for New York State.  In his free time, he hopes to improve his already-impressive bowling skills.

7th – Marina Mikhaylyuk is the daughter of Vasiliy and Angela Mikhaylyuk of Taberg.  Marina plans to attend Spartanburg Community College in South Carolina to study Nursing. Her immediate goals are to relocate to South Carolina and begin her journey towards a nursing career.  She hopes to travel the world and eventually own her own coffee shop.

8th – Jerome Seidl is the son of Christina Seidl of Cleveland.  Jerome plans to attend SUNY ESF where he will major in Environmental Resource Engineering. His goal is to work in hydropower/water management. Jerome is intrigued by the workings of water systems, hydroponics, watersheds, and water storage. 

9th – Connor MacArthur is the son of Amy MacArthur of Camden. Connor plans to attend college at a school yet to be determined.  His plan is to cherish every part of his life, and hopefully find success in his career to allow him to provide for his family.

10th – Erica Zike is the daughter of Jim and Brenda Zike of Taberg.  Erica plans to attend Utica University and major in Psychology. Erica plans to go on to earn her professional degree in Psychology as well. This will prepare her for a career that makes her happy and allows her to help as many people as she can.  She is hoping to have the ability to travel the world throughout her lifetime.
