Professor K

During our Camp Sum-More-Fun summer enrichment program, Camden High School science teacher Steven Keller has become famous for his fascinating demonstrations of practical science concepts.

On Wednesday, July 19th, "Professor K" demonstrated a combustion reaction using the popular "Whoosh" experiment to our campers. The reaction, which utilizes a small amount of vaporized ethanol, creates a distinctive sound. It demonstrates the basic reaction used by an internal combustion engine.

This experiment was conducted by a trained professional using highly controlled and proven methods and safety protocols. We do not advise trying this at home.
