
Camden Elementary students and staff got to enjoy the sun and snow during their Winterfest celebration on Thursday, March 16th! Thank you to the CES PTO for the hot chocolate and cookie treats!








A busy day of professional development is underway! A few CCSD staff members are starting their morning by working on adding more digital options to their learning toolkit with this Intro to District Software presentation from Model Schools Coordinator Brad Seidman.





Six members of the Camden High School girls’ volleyball team have been selected to the 2022-23 Tri-Valley League Pioneer Division All-Star teams. The honors were recently released by local media outlets. The awards are selected through a comprehensive survey of the league’s coaches.
The Blue Devils finished with an impressive record of 11-8, won their first division title in over two decades, and advanced to the Section III Class B Semifinals.
Junior Brooke Musch, sophomore Hailey Gladle, and sophomore Julia Holmes were selected to the first team.
Senior Devyn Dewan and sophomore Olivia Hooker were second team selections for Camden. Junior Leah Runion was selected as an honorable mention all-star.
Congratulations!


The mandatory spring sports information meeting for players and their parents/guardians will take place tonight, Thursday, March 16th, at 6:00 PM in the Camden High School Auditorium. This meeting will consist of information and expectations for the 2023 Spring season, as well as a presentation from guest speaker Chris Sargent. See the attached flyer for more information on our speaker. AD Josh Mazzaferro should be your point of contact for any questions ahead of time.

The Blue Devils wrapped up the year at 7-14, and participated in the Section III Class B Championship Tournament under head coach Tom McCarthy.
Senior guard Erica Zike was selected as a member of the first team. Zike averaged a team-best 9.8 points per game. Her best scoring outings of the season came in matchups against Pulaski and Holland Patent, where she poured in 21 points. Zike was recently announced as one of the top ten students in the Camden High School Class of 2023.
Senior guard Katie McCarthy was chosen for second team honors. McCarthy averaged 8.6 points per game. Her best performance of the season came in an early-season matchup against Central Valley Academy where she piled up 20 points.
The Blue Devils will graduate six seniors, including Zike and McCarthy, off this year’s varsity roster.

The 2023-24 Student Calendar has been approved by the Board of Education, and we are pleased to share it with you now! We will communicate with you on any revisions as needed throughout the year.

Best of luck to Mackenzie Mix '21 as she competes this weekend at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships in Birmingham, Alabama! She is seeded fifteenth in a twenty competitor field at 400 meters.
She is a sophomore at Utica University who competes in all three sport seasons through field hockey, indoor track and field, and outdoor track and field. If that's not enough, she has already received collegiate all-region honors in all three sport seasons!
The women's 400 meter preliminaries will be held on Friday at 4:25 p.m.
